What the road is really like
Leave early
The Delhi to Hapur stretch is the slowest part by a distance. Leaving before six can save well over an hour.
Stop at Moradabad or Kashipur
Both have reliable places to break the drive. After Kashipur the road quietens and the last hour is genuinely pleasant.
The last two kilometres
Dhela Road narrows and the surface is patchy in places. Any car manages it, but take it slowly — especially after dark, when animals cross.
Before you book

How do I drive from Delhi?

Ramnagar, about 12 km away and roughly twenty-five minutes by road. Tell us your train number and we will send a car.
Which airport should I fly into?
Pantnagar is nearest at around 80 km but has limited connections. Most guests fly into Delhi and drive, which is often faster door to door.
