Celebrations

From vows to the morning nobody had to rush

Celebrate in the quiet of the Corbett wilderness. Open lawns for the ceremony, an elegant indoor venue when the evening turns, and decor built around what you actually want rather than a fixed package.

“Nobody else’s wedding was happening next door.”

Large hotels sell you a ballroom and put two other functions around it. Forty-eight rooms is small enough to take entirely, which means your guest list is the only guest list on the property.

01
Every function

The whole wedding, not just the phera

Most venues quote you a lawn and a hall. Here is every ceremony a three-day Indian wedding contains, and which space takes it.

01

Roka & engagement

Small, forty to eighty. The second lawn at golden hour, or indoors on a winter evening.

02

Ganesh puja

Morning, family only. A quiet corner of the gardens, away from where the setup crews are working.

03

Mehendi

Daytime and shaded. The second lawn with chaat counters, low seating and artists under cover.

04

Haldi

Messy by design, so it wants grass and a hose nearby. Morning slot, with the pool a short walk for afterwards.

05

Sangeet

The main lawn with a full stage, or the hall at 150 theatre-style if the weather turns.

06

Baraat

Down the drive from the gate, long enough to be a proper procession and lit for it.

07

Varmala & phera

First light on the main lawn, on a mandap built the previous afternoon rather than in the dark.

08

Vidaai

At the entrance, with the stone signage and the treeline behind. The photograph the family keeps.

09

Reception

The hall for a seated dinner, or the main lawn as a floating crowd at 80 to 120.

10

Farewell brunch

Late and unhurried. Nobody chasing an eleven o'clock checkout, which is the argument for a buy-out.

11

Anniversaries

Smaller and often midweek, which makes them considerably better value. A private dinner and a spa morning.

12

Family celebrations

Milestone birthdays, retirements, mundan and annaprashan. The hall takes 150; the lawns take more.

02
What a buy-out buys

Three days that belong to one family

  • All forty-eight rooms, so grandparents are ninety seconds from the mandap
  • Two open lawns, so each function gets its own setup
  • The hall as the weather fallback, decided in the afternoon
  • In-house catering with tastings before you sign anything
  • One event manager from site visit to farewell brunch
  • Saalora Wellness slots held for the bridal party
  • A treeline behind every photograph, at no extra cost

Wedding FAQs

What couples ask on the site visit

How many guests can you host?

The hall seats 150 theatre-style and holds 80 to 120 as a floating crowd; the two open lawns take considerably more. Residential capacity is the tighter constraint: forty-eight rooms sleep roughly 120 to 140 depending on the mix, and we arrange additional rooms nearby for larger lists.

Can we take the whole property?

Yes, and most couples do. A buy-out means all forty-eight rooms, both lawns, the hall, the pool and the restaurant are yours, with no other guests on site.

Do you allow outside decorators?

Catering is in-house with tasting sessions before you confirm. Decor, sound, lighting and mandap work go through vetted partners, or we work with your own planner.

Is there a separate space for each function?

Yes, and this is the practical argument for booking here. Two open lawns plus the hall means a sangeet does not have to be dismantled at two in the morning to become a phera at six.

Who runs it on the day?

One event manager, from the first site visit to the farewell brunch. One phone number that answers.

What happens if it rains?

The banquet hall is the fallback for every outdoor function, and the decision gets made in the afternoon rather than at eight when everyone is dressed.

How far ahead should we book?

Peak dates from November to February go twelve to eighteen months ahead. Off-peak and monsoon dates are more flexible and considerably better value.

Every season. A new story.
